2018 Spaulding-CNC Grant Presentations

On February 26 & 27 and March 7 & 8 the 2018 Spaulding-CNC Community Partnership Funds will host presentations by the non-profit organizations applying for grants. The public is encouraged to attend and hear about incredible programs led by our non-profits. Awards will be announced in early May 2018. 

 

Charlestown Neighborhood Council (CNC) Monthly Mtg

 

Regular monthly meeting of the Charlestown Neighborhood Council (CNC).  The CNC meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 545 Medford St.

The Charlestown Neighborhood Council (CNC) is the officially elected representative body of the Charlestown neighborhood of the City of Boston, MA. It was founded in 1986.

The CNC is responsible for facilitating dialogue within the Charlestown community and between the residents of Charlestown and the City of Boston, State and Local agencies and businesses on topics including:

USS Constitution’s 1997 Sail

The USS Constitution Museum invites you to a conversation with the crew who sailed “Old Ironsides” for the first time in 116 years.

USS Constitution underwent a major restoration between 1992 and 1996 which refurbished her to the most historically accurate state of the 20th century.  With “Old Ironsides’” keel straightened and hull significantly strengthened, Commander Michael C. Beck’s vision to sail her became a possibility.
