The author of several New York Times bestsellers, novelist Terry McMillan’s works have inspired box office hit movies such as Waiting to Exhale and How Stella Got Her Groove Back. The author has received many accolades for her writing, including a Glamour Women of the Year award for her level of national achievement and impact on women. McMillan brings her signature humor, wisdom and warmth to her writing. Speaking on Empowering Women, McMillan will share excerpts from her latest book, I Almost Forgot About You, and discuss the power of expression through writing and the impact it can have on our lives.
